It would be good if this was a conversion of their existing order for 5 A310-300. If Iraqi still hold deposits then this would be an ideal situation to resolve the long standing order.  Smile

I dont see why not, although Im not sure they could afford 5 new A330-200 ATM.

Hmm, I think at the moment, they'd have difficulty filling them on the routes they operate!

I see A-310's in the future. It makes the most sense if you ask me. I do not think there is an overabundant need or want for most pax to go to Iraq except those war effort related.


There is plenty of room for Gods animals, right next to the mashed potatoes!

Perhaps some of the soon to be ex-KU A310s/A300s? It would be somewhat ironic, because KU's older A310/A300s were to have before part of the IA fleet after the 1990 invasion.
