I have seen that there are a lot of posts about easyjet new destinations! So I'm proposing to regroup everything in one topic which would be mine obviously  Wink

Belgium:

BRU - SXF 29/10/07
BRU - NCE 05/11/07

Did Easyjet have some kind of gentleman agreement with virgin-express after all where they wouldn't compete with each other?

Poland

GDN - BRS 30/10/07
GDN - LGW 30/10/07
GDN - EDI 30/10/07

Why Gdansk and not any other city such as Warsaw?

Romania

BBU - LGW 29/10/07
BBU - MAD 29/10/07
BBU - MXP 10/09/07

Rushing before Ryanair establishes itself?

Sorry didn't want to undercut anyone here...

Vincent

Isn't it mostly frequency reductions, with Rome the only destination axed?

I'm sure Jet 2 will be monitoring the situation closely though

STN from 5 Daily to 4
BRS from 4 Daily to 3
CDG from 2 Daily to 1

Frequency decreases on AGP/ALC/PMI

Last new routes to be announced from NCL were Mahon and Krakow...destinations which were already served by other airlines.

Is Easyjet still eyeing services to Malta or has that idea died a natural death?

Why not BCN-NCE ? Lemons ! They'd make a packet, IB flies 3 or 4 daily, and charge an absolute fortune.

True BCN-NCE would be a success, in the past they had Air Litoral with 3 flights a day. They lefy and no one filled the gap

Strange to choose LYS over NCE. MRS should do well also..

This route needs cometition

EZY announced INN yesterday (see reply 8) - is it ski season only, or year round?

That's what we at INN would like to know, too; we haven't heard anything about summer yet. I could imagine though that BRS will be winter only and LGW could be reduced to maybe 3 or 4 flights a week during summer (similar to GB Airways LGW-INN).

I know INN has some summer demand for 'lakes and mountains' holidays that EZY could exploit. I guess the quiet time in INN is around November?

Do OS still do LGW-INN scheduled flights?

Anyway, far more important is that Austrian Arrows are doing a new HUY-INN charter this winter  Wink

Nope, that flight (OS447/448 with the NG 736 in special livery) was cancelled when GB Airways started to fly on a regular basis all-year round.

HUY-INN

Has that flight been confirmed already? I haven't heard about it yet. But great news, nevertheless!

Well, there is already the GB Airways flight from LGW as well the First Choice flight from MAN during summer, so I don't know if EZY is able to make money on that route just with lakes and snow-less mountains. On the other hand, with a little bit of marketing etc. it seems reasonable.

The quiet time in INN goes from October until Christmas, but April/May are also not really busy months.

On sale with the tour operator (Inghams), and announced by HUY

Think it leaves INN first thing in the morning as it gets into HUY about 8/9am
