They also have a Simpsons channel on the TV. They have all sorts of ads and posters saying it's on Channel 41.
It was on Channel 40 on my flight. Go figure...

Quoting Njgtr82 (Reply 3): I was hoping for a little more then just a decal on the nose, like the characters at least.

Was this a new A320?
Not all of us can be heroes, some of us can only stand on the sidewalk and clap as they go by.

I'm so glad JetBlue didn't do this to their aircraft.
I have nothing against WP, but this would have made JetBlue look extremely cheap and unprofessional. Call me old-fashioned, but sometimes boring is OK!

Went to the "Kwik-E-Mart" on Olive in Burbank this morning. They had to hire security and create a waiting line. The place is stacked with crates of fresh "Homer" donuts. They taste amazing. I bought some to give to friends. No Buzz cola left.

Maybe a really stupid question, but how do they get those seats in and out? First time i'm wondering on this...
I thought there would have been a magic way to get them in "faster" as not one by one (or two by two)... like they do on some of those combi aircrafts, of those paletmounted seats. I've always though of "refurbishing a plane" as something that could be done overnight, but the more i think about it it seems a hard job

I was just messing with you...it is a legitimate question....one that I don't have a real answer to other than I've seen them pull from the tracks row by row.

That is the ez part, 1st we have the prep seats waiting for the a/c, 2nd with the help of a forlklift they remove about 6 set of seat down... to outfit AirTran with XM system it only takes 24 hrs split into 2 days 12hrs during (3rd shifts)...

Wow, faster than i thought anyways then. And does the plane then go back in service for 12 hours with half of the seats installed? (hope this isn't a second silly question )

27 ArcrftLvr: Off topic, but is that the 7-11 on Olive & Victory?
28 Ikramerica: No. there are a bunch on Olive, but only one Kwik-E-Mart. It's Olive and Verdugo (and Park, six way intersection).
29 WepaMan: the 1st 12 they replace all seats and and add some of the cable harness and they close the a/c and sended blackout, the rest of the install, XM Anten
