I'm flying AA tomorrow....my flight gets into O'Hare's K concourse at 9:55, and my next flight leaves the G concourse at 10:35.....so 40 minutes. Is this enough time to switch terminals??....re-entering security could take 40 minutes alone!

You don't have to switch terminals by going through security again. It should take no more than 15 minutes to get gate to gate. All terminals except T5 are interconnected so you can pass through without going through security again. The only time you would need to pass through security again is going to T5 (International). Hope this helps.

Edit: Just added a link to the map of the terminal you'll be in.

Terminals 1, 2, and 3 are all linked inside security. It is not too far from K to G - it should only take you about 10 minutes, depending on how fast you walk. 40 minutes will be plenty of time!

Enjoy O'Hare!

Isn't there a bus between G & K?

Nope, just your own feet and a hall between them. Your probably thinking about the bus in the United (T1) terminal over to concourse E in terminal 2.
