Hi guys!
There was an Air Greenland A330-200 at ZRH's E-Gates today (Aug, 2nd) which operated as GL6783 ZRH-CPH-SFJ (Kangerlussuaq). It was apperantly some kind of charter/special flight but def no maintenance case.
Does anyone have an idea about what kind of flight that was?

This was a normal charter flight organised by one of the Swiss Tour operators. If I am right it is Hotelplan.
I saw this advertisement in the newspaper around last x-mas.
Next week, 8th or 9th Aug it will come once again to ZRH around 8 pm.

I would like to add, that it was the first ever commercial direct flight between Switzerland and Greenland.
What a pitty, Icelandair doesn't fly charter rotations to ZRH that summer.

To add to "Fly Swiss"'s comment, there was a LT flight from HAJ to SFJ yesterday, too.
My speculation is, that some cruise ship was exchanging pax in / near Kangerlussuaq, as this has been the reason for those flights in recent years.

I still have the cutting - it was advertised in the Coop magazine. According to the info there, the return flight will land in Zürich 10th august, early morning, but maybe it's changed. It made no mention there that it would fly via CPH, although I suppose it makes sense to route it that way. I'm sure they could never fill an A330 from ZRH-SFJ!
Greetings
