2 questions
1. You have to travel on the same day as your flight, however can you confirm your seat 24 hours prior to the flight time or must you wait till 12:01am the day of the flight?
2. Whats the odds that I can snag an aisle or exit row if I confirm my seat the moment its available?
(I'm traveling EWR-MCO on December 24th). Also do they add more flights for the holidays?

Traveling on Christmas Eve is interesting - flight will probably be surprisingly full (holidays don't stop people from finding cheap fares, or with recent ~ 90% Load-factors, open seats!!)

Quoting UN_B732 (Reply 2): holidays don't stop people from finding cheap fares
Yep, I paid $129 OW on the 650p/947p flight, and I got an aisle seat in the 36" section of the plane.
Also saw flights on UA for $94 OW. Thats cheap for xmas season with most other days around then being anywhere from 225-350OW
