I saw the story on WFTV News that evening. It was a Spirit MD-80 that had an engine failure. They had footage of the landing and everything wnet smoothly. They did not say where the plane was headed or coming from.

Also watching it on TV. They didn't say much, stupid media...
Odd thing is, about a week before, I was out spotting at MCO, and one of their MD-80's started it's take off roll....full thrust...then it got quiet. It rolled down the runway for a bit, then pulled over to the taxiway. It finally left 10 mins later without a hitch. And I heard just a day or 2 after the MCO landing with one engine, that another one had engine troubles and ended up in FLL. Did anybody hear about that?
