I used to fly KLM a lot between DC and Dubai, the typical NW DC-10 then connect to a KL 767, now i see that KLM has replaced the IAD flight with either a 777 or an A330, then the Dubai route has been replaced by a 777. does KLM has a lot of 767's left? and if so, what are their routes?

As mentioned above, the B763ERs were deployed network wide and over the years many destinations have seen the aircraft: YUL, YVR, JFK, EWR, IAD, ATL, MEM, MIA (now closed), IAH, SFO, CCS, LOS, ABV, KAN, LFW (now closed), DLA (now closed), ABJ (now closed), ACC, DAR, JRO, NBO, CAI, DXB, AUH, DMM, BAH, DOH, KWI, THR, ALA, DEL, to name just a few. The aircraft was also deployed regularly in the European network, including to LHR, SVO, LIS and OPO and was used very regularly for high density substitutions within Europe. The last KLM B763ER flight took place on March 03 0f this year, as KL651/652 AMS IAD AMS.

KLM started the MEM route in 1994 or 1995 IIRC, it was usually served with a MD11 in summers and a 767 in winters. NW took the route over in (?) 2000 or thereabouts. Vancouver has been served by different types including 767, it is now served with a A332.
May 2006 I took KL681 to YVR, a MD11 ("Ingrid Bergmann"). A few months later, in september, I took KL681 again, but now it was an A330 ("Parliament Square, EDI"). Before KL operated the A330, it was a B767-300.
No, KL is even refurbushing the MD11 fleet (was REALLY necessary!). The MD11s get the same WBC seat as the B777/A330 (don't know if that's an real improvement....). Also the nice AVOD will be installed in the MD11, also in m-class. KL will operate the MD11 until at least 2012 (that seems far away in the future, but it's only 5 years....)
