Hi all! I was wondering if the 717/MD95 is going to have winglets?
If anyone was wondering why I haven't posted any posts lately, it's because I have midterm exams starting this thursday and they're running through next wednesday!

That's a negative! Finals suck so get good grades
before the finals so you don't have to sweet
like a pilot shooting the ILS with no navs!
That's my theory! It works (3.8)!!!

FedEx, your theory works for me also. I usually get about a 10% lower grade on finals (I still try though), but that doesn't matter because I work really hard during the year. I've been pulling a 4.0+ (weighed classes) ever since I have gotten a GPA. My midterms don't start until mid Jan.

Being a completely new design, it's likely that the wingtips were designed efficiently enough so that winglets were not necessary--like the tips of the 777's wings. I don't think that we'll see winglets on any more brand-new designs.

As of now, the 717's wing is clean.
As you probably know the Boeing web site has many great photos of all its aircraft including a GREAT screen saver. Its free and it has all their models.

Good luck on those exams Camile.
Good grades now will pay off later in life especially if you are interested in flying. I know I sould like a parent but doing well in school is so important to your future.
