I was just poking around on FlightAware and saw that a Skybus bird was in IND this afternoon, can anyone confirm this, or is it just a FlightAware glitch?

Thanks for any info.

Maybe they landed on an unused stretch of road, and tried to pass it off as Chicago?

I was passing thru IND on way home from work around 4pm and not see any Skybus. I could be able to notice it but did not see it.

Perhaps in for maintenance?

Indy = Indianapolis and not Independence Air

Quoting Indy (Reply 3):

Possibly.

On a sidenote, not worth starting another topic. Skybus has added YKF as a "market" in their javascript code, among others. Here is a list: AUS , BFI , BLI , BOS , BUR , CEF , CUN , FLL , GSO , INT , LAX , LGB , MCI , MCO , MIA , NAS , NYC , OAK , ONT , PGD , PSM , PVD , RIC , SAN , SGJ , SWF , UST , YKF. Obviously some of these are current destinations or markets, but interesting nonetheless.

According to FlightAware, the plane was in Indy for about 5.5 hours. It flew in as SKB5000 at around noon and left as SKB5001 at around 5:30PM. I wonder if the maintenance work had anything to do with their CMH-CEF-CMH flight being delayed by about 4 hours today...
