I have recently been evaluating low-cost airlines based at STN and LTN. Without going into too much detail as regards their operations, it's clear that GO, Buzz, FR and EZY all cover an extensive route network.
In reality, are there any new potential destinations which are not yet served from either airports? Ideally, such an airline requires freqency, so perhaps serving smaller Spanish destinations, for example, are out of the question. What do you think?
In your opinion, what new destinations could be served from STN?

Go seems to do well into Prague, so maybe some of the other former iron curtain cities like Budapest and Warsaw who have a fair amt of tourist and business traffic and where money is more of an issue. Don't know how easy it would be to get rights though. Some of the smaller destinations i Spain should work, especially when you look at some of the places Ryanair is going to Italy and France. What about places like Estonia and Latvia with loads of tourist potential and very cheap, which sticks to the budget theme. I don't know, but they are quickly running out of places to go!

I live 4 km far from Brescia Airport (VBS), which is served by Ryanair with 2 daily flights. I think this small airport is really good and efficient. I also can see that a lot of people choose Brescia Airport to reach Milan and Venice. That's why I think that small destination are often better than big ones. You don't have to wait for the take off, for the check in etc.
I know that Ryanair has placed orders for more B737-800, maybe they think to reach new destinations!!!!
I think that despite the low prices Ryanair is really, really good!!!
Last summer I flew to STN (and return) and the airliners were EI-CSB for VBS-STN and EI-CSD for STN-VBS, so they were a few months old, the crew was really kind and also the services at VBS and at STN were good!!!!
