I keep some General Dynamics stock. It does well.

Recently I read that GD was planning to acquire Gulfstream Aircraft. Did they do it? I'd like to know.

Yup. It is a done deal (or if not completely done, it is done for all intents and purposes). I noticed a Gulfstream ad in a recent Business and Commercial Aviation issue which showed it was a General Dynamics company. GD is tough to figure out. Some years they are spinning off aerospace, other years they are acquiring!! Go figure.
