HAHAHAHA...that is just great! People need to lighten up a little and realize the airlines will never be able to hire all smart people.

There's a whole series of these. They take a shot at lots of people. I'd like to see them do one on A.netters.

I think it's funny, but I guess, if you're unfamiliar with the Bud Light concept, you probably won't get it.

...have no idea what that concept is!? "Why drink beer when you can have a Bud Light"... no no no, that can't be it  Wink

However... back to the video... been there, seen it, and it's the sad truth!

Can't watch the video right now, but I love the Bud Light "Real Men of Genius" salute to airport baggage handlers. Cracks me up!

Being a bag schlep myself. I would tease my coworkers, by calling us nothing but a bunch of toilet trained gorillas. I mean come on people, lighten up, way too many thin skinned people out there.

I find it funny...

Maybe real baggage handlers out there should lighten up and realise its only a joke... thus thinking about the great job they (nearly) always do!  Wink

The song is pretty funny. The video going along with it wasn't too good. I've seen a better video to the exact same song that was acted out a little better than this one.

Nonetheless, most of the "Real Men of Genuis/Real American Hero" ads by Bud Light are pretty amusing.  biggrin

Seen it before, and I still love it! I found it amusing that every picture features a Comair plane, what gives!  Wink But actually, somebody I work with here at MLI is in that little montage of pictures. She was on TDY, can't remember where, but wherever it was that's where this person got all their pictures from. It's the fourth picture, the one at night with the vests glowing. She's the blonde putting a bag on the bag cart. Anyway, again, I'm a ramper for OH during the summers and I still find this video to be hilarious and I take no offense whatsoever.

OK, as a Agent in DRO for a while we all thought that this was a hilarious commercial and we couldn't stop laughing. We handled everything in DRO from check-in to cleaning the a/c and let me tell you, if you talk to anyone on the ramp, you will more likely find a person who loves this. Now I do understand the average person who has no idea what is going on will think this is not funny but for the people it's suppose to be making fun of, we love it!

Here in ROC were just like DRO (well most of us) we will check you in and take your baggage claim and then go and clean and dump the lav. For those of us at stations like this we all have the old mainline vet who would not leave and go to the hub with 25 yrs seniority, complains all day about how good the good old days were and how bad things are now. These are some of the people who fall into this video! I dont care were the bag is going, I dont have to take the baggage claim from the poor woman who's in a wedding the next day because I cant even sign into the computer. I will leave it for the guy who can do it. Do any of you relate to this.....I was at the counter the other day with a "FORMER" AA ramper who works for MQ now and all of us are suppose to be crossed trained HAHAHA......he says "can you help me with this.....I dont know how to change this guys seats...(he has been with MQ for 5 yrs now and is suppose to be cross trained) so I step in to help for the 1,000,000 time and the next thing I know the guy is gone. He left me to do the work and he had something better to go do.......any you all wonder why your luggage gets lost? Because these people dont care anymore about these airlines and leave it up to the few that love the industry......and care.
