I was looking at their timetable, and saw that they have about 40 departures, most of them daily from Hobby to Dallas Love. Anyone been on one of these flight? Whats the loads like? I think they have one every 30 mins, beginning @ 6AM ending @ 10PM, some flights are every 15 mins.

DAL-HOU: 33 a day, DAL-IAH: 7 a day. Reduced service on Saturdays, been on several at various times during the day and week with high loads no matter what flight. Amazing...

SWA has several ads right outside of DAL and one says,"Lunch in Houston, dinner in Dallas" DAL-HOU/IAH is popular because both are major business cities and are very close together so a business man from Dallas can go down to Houston for a couple of hours for a business meeting and then come right back when it is done. It is very convenient, I myself have not flown the route but I hope to.

Give me a break, I created this username when I was a kid...

I have flown the route and the flights are generally filled-except for the very early flights in the morning. However, Houston-Dallas is one of the more popular business routes in the nation; besides Southwest HOU-DAL and IAH-DAL- Continental flies IAH-DFW, COEx IAH-DAL, AA HOU-DFW, IAH-DFW, DL IAH-DFW.
