Meh. Looks like every other Virgin Blue jet!
But I look forward to flying on it. When does it enter service?

Hence the reason they're called Virgin BLUE - it's a play on the fact that in Australia red heads, usually boys, get the nickname of Blue or Bluey.
It looks really good, and will look better 'in the flesh' so to speak. I think there are quite a few people waiting for these jets to come into service over here.

WOW. I can't wait to take a ride on one of these babys! Posters in the US and Europe probably don't understand my excitement. When you board a domestic flight in Australia, it's usually a 737, 767 or A320. We don't have the same variety of aircraft that people on other continents enjoy. This is going to make travelling and spotting just a little bit more interesting.

Looks nice!
They've put the new tail FONT on it, but they've kept the older tail design (with the blue outline thing). I was under teh impression they were converting to the New VS / VA-type tail?

Doesn't really explain the "Pacific Blue" (based in New Zealand) and "Polynesian Blue" (Samoa) branding though. Neither of these countries associate red heads with "blue". Bit of a quirk in their marketing really. Sad they're not doing up the livery, but at least it's not as bland and typical as the V Australia one. Yeesh!

I thought it was blue as in disagreement, but anyway, they cannot use the Virgin name on any international flights, hence Pacific, Polynesian and V Int.

Great looking aircraft. I like the red personally. I get tired of seeing lame ass white liveries with just a tail logo.
We often judge others by their actions, but ourselves by our intentions.

It Looks okay.
If you ask me the Virgin group should repaint every airline's aircraft in a livery representing the new VA 747 livery.
Cheers

25 RootsAir: Nice bird. One question .. what route will the a/c take to be delivered from Brazil to Australia ? regards
26 Vasu: Unfortunately, perhaps, this was only a temporary scheme (although its still flying) on one 747. The new scheme can only be seen on a couple of A346s
27 Sparklehorse12: I think they look cool. The ejets are really going to give Qantas Link a shake.
