Can We Book To CLE Like This?

Okay, so me and my family are going to fly to Cleveland in early September, and since apart of my revised campaign to get Midwest to Sioux Falls, I am having people sign up for their miles account and stuff.

And I was wondering, if it might be cheaper or something to do FSD-MSP-MKE-CLE (Northwest, then Midwest).
It was just wondering since they codeshare, and ive never flown YX, that it might be just as reasonable.
any help would be appreciated!

It doesn't look like NW/YX have a code share in the FSD-CLE market.

You can buy a FSD-MSP on NW and then MSP-MKE-CLE on YX

Might be more expensive then a CO code share with NW FSD-MSP-CLE or NW all the way.
