Anyone know why the AA check in lines at LGA are really long today? People were backed out the door waiting on line around 12:15 this afternoon.

Not all that unusual for any airline at LGA. Oftentimes, for summer travel, there simply isn't enough space in the terminals for (a) enough check-in counters, and (b) people to line up.

It looked like the self-service kiosks were out of order. Just wondering if this was systemwide or confined to LGA.

Do you avoid the lines at LGA if you do web check-in and still have to check bags? Just wondering if there is a special drop-off location in the terminal. I'll definitely do it next time I fly from LGA.

You can drop your bags off at the curbside check-in.

Curb-Side-its worth the $2. I haven't checked a bag in 3 years! No matter how long I am going for I squeeze and use those compression bags for my clothes. I have it down to a science!
