I was just trying to book an AMS-SIN-KUL flight on SQ for next Spring and it has just returned some extraordinary options on www.singaporeair.com
For the inbound - i have the following options...
SQ 109 dep KUL 2220 arr SIN 2315 conecting on to SQ 324 the following morning at 0745 arr AMS1525
SQ 113 dep KUL 0100 arr SIN 0155 connecting on to SQ324
SQ 117 dep KUL 0250 arr SIN 0345 connecting on to SQ 324
SQ 119 dep KUL 0545 arr SIN 0640 connecting on to SQ 324
All flights operated by 777-212ER
Why are there so many flights operating through the night from Summer 08?

SQ 109 connects to the last bank of flights that leave SIN after midnight.
SQ 119 connects to the first flights that leave SIN that morning.
SQ 113 & 117 could be mainly flights for belly cargo. If the flights are going to run anyways, why not take some pax.
Cathay Pacific did (not sure if they do now) HKG to Japan overnights primarily for belly cargo but it was loaded into the schedules as pax flight too.

Quoting Ex_SQer (Reply 2): It looks as if all the timings you have written above are off by 8 hours from the correct timing:
Seems like this. I just tried to book a FRA-SIN-KUL for November and there seems to be the same problem. But (unfortunately for me) the system realizes that something is wrong before you can enter your credit card details (it says it cannot price the itinerary).
