AirTran Airways Brings the Sunshine State to Boston

- Airline Offers New Nonstop Service Between Boston and West Palm Beach -
ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI - News), announced today that it will be adding nonstop service between Logan International Airport in Boston, Mass., and Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach, Fla. AirTran Airways will offer the new daily flight to West Palm Beach starting on November 15.

AirTran Airways will operate fuel-efficient, 137-seat Boeing 737-700 aircraft on the route. AirTran Airways operates 22 daily flights to seven nonstop destinations from Boston and nine daily flights to five nonstop destinations from West Palm Beach.
Dick Haller, marketing director at Palm Beach International Airport, said Boston is the fourth largest market for local air travelers -- and demand is increasing. "Boston is such an important market for us, and demand is growing," he said. "We're extremely pleased with the additional service from AirTran Airways."
The following nonstop flight options will be available between Logan International Airport and Palm Beach International Airport, on a seasonal basis, unless otherwise noted:
