Spanair seem to be picking up quite a few ex SAS MD80's, most of which are painted into Star Colours
are there many more to come from SAS? Also are they just leased from SAS and how will this be
affected if SAS sells Spanair?
Spanair is certainly on the lookout for planes at the minute.....

Actually, Spanair has wet-leased from SAS the next aircrafts:
OY-KGY (M82)
EC-JRR (ex LN-RMH), EC-JSU (ex LN-RMK), EC-JTK (ex OY-KHW), EC-JYD (ex SE-DIB), EC-KAZ (ex OY-KHI), EC-KCZ (ex OY-KHF), EC-KET (ex LN-ROZ), LN-RMG and SE-DIF.
The idea is to have these aircrafts leased meanwhile JK looks for more Boeing 717 to add to its fleet. There are talks with both Jetstar (Australia) and AirTran to purchase four or five aircrafts but are only talks.
Let's see if the conversations will be positive...

Gerard
