Quote: Passenger traffic at Capital City Airport dropped 9.7 percent in July from a year ago, as major air carriers cut service to Lansing.
The airport logged 41,576 passengers in and out of its gates, down from 46,051 in July 2006, according to figures from the Capital Region Airport Authority. For the year, traffic is down nearly 11 percent.
Only low-cost carrier Allegiant Air saw an increase. The airline had 9,098 passengers, up from 8,685 in July 2006.
Good news for G4 though.

The NW numbers are going to drop even more in OCT because NW is dropping the NW LAN-MSP trip.
My son had an OCT 11 booking LAN-MSP-SEA and NW changed the routing last week and its now thru DTW.
