I was just curious to know how many A380's have so far come off the Airbus production line...
I have seen numerous photos of A380's, some wearing SQ, LH and EK liveries and a photo of four A380's flying in formation together, all in Airbus in-house colours...
Reason I ask, is because I thought SQ was the airline to receive an A380 this year and some other airlines like EK and LH are not due to get them until 2009. What will these other aircrafts be doing until they are delivered? Anyone able to confirm delivery dates of the airlines that have placed orders?

Depends on how you define "built".
Airbus has two dozen frames or so in various stages of completion, in terms of having the fuselage assembled and the wings/stabilizers attached. Some have full interiors while others are still being outfitted inside.
SQ will get their first frame - MSN003 - this October. They're scheduled to get I believe four or five more in 2008. The next batch of a dozen are for QF, EK, and MH. I expect QF and EK will get more then MH does in that both should be able to be produced quicker once Airbus has defined a wiring diagram for them, even if each frame receives a unique production certificate.
