Hi All,
After doing a site search on Max Jet stating service to LAX this coming Thursday 30th of August, I was wondering if there's anything new going on in regards to this new 4X weekly service to STN?
After donig a search @ www.maxjet.com and www.lawa.org , I wasn't able to find out what terminal they'll be utilizing @ LAX. Anyone know?
How are early loads looking?
Thoughts about Max Jet's new service?
Their schedule is:
FLT# DEP ARR EQU M FREQ
MY #310 LAX: 5:00p STN: 12:00p +1 762 DB 1457

Sems like very early departure from STN, getting to LAX at 1300 doesn't make any sense, specially for a route that needs 2 a/c no matter the timing.
I mean with the 8 hour diferential you'll be washed out for the day and the early arrival means you've to fight all afternoon long to not fall asleep if you want to overcome jetlag quickly.
I love BA269 sice you get to LAX after 1900 and when you get to hotel or home is late enough to go to bed.
I'd assume an independent carrier (no alliance) will use TBIT, just a guess.

Thanks for the information. I'm surprised LAWA hasn't placed the informaton on their website.
BTW, when I was @ LAX the other day, I was noticing the gate upgrade construction for the 380 on the north end of TBIT. As well, I noticed several other gates missing jetways? What's going on with that? Reconfiguration with that or just replacement?
I bet Max Jet will end up @ remote often.

I agree, but could this be due to capacity in TBIT? It might be the only timing they could get at the start.

There are some long term gate closures due to staging and construction work at TBIT, however LAWA has been in the process of replacing about 30 jetways at TBIT gates along with some in other terminal like 3 and 6 for while now.
