I was just reading at air safety online a story that will be coming on January 8 and it is "USA's most successful airline the most dangerous airline" Wow, big story but who could this be? Southwest, Alaska Airlines? It is a worry so any American's or anyone who has any ideas maybe you can fill us in.

Well, since it is the biggest, it can't be either Alaska or Southwest, that's for sure.
It depends on how they mean big:
American Airlines has more planes than any other in the world, totaling in excess of 700.
Delta flies more passengers than any other line in the US.
United has more flights/routes than any other in the US.
So I am predicting United. And no, I don't think they are anymore dangerous than AA, DL, CO, TW, or anybody else, for that matter.

I would have thought that Southwest was the most successful in the US. United seems to be one of the worst for customer service and on-time performance. United and American haven't really had any major accidents recently have they? is Alaska Airlines viewed as highly successful? Well, we'll all just have to wait and find out.
