Breaking News:

Sabreliner N726JR Skids Off RWY07 at SJO.

A Sabreliner 265, N726JR, mfg 1971 and CN 370-4, skid off the Runway upon takeoff, aparently a wheel bursted during departure and the pilot aborted the takeoff, the plane came to lie to the side of the Runway 25, but did not get out of the airport perimiter. Among the passengers, a 5-month pregnant woman was onboard and she was rushed to the Hospital Mexico in a stable condition. No one was seriously injured.

Fellow SJO Spotter Cesar Badilla was at La Candela when the incident occured and he was able to capture in photos the whole event, right now its very early to give photos or conclutions but I will post more later tonight, I will be headed to SJO in about an hour.

Amazing capture! Probably paid for his camera today with those gems. We've shared them around the office tonight in order to show what made CO1446 divert to LIR this afternoon. Wow, simply stunning.

I was spotting with Cesar, but left a few minutes earlier.
I'm glad he was able to capture this great shots, and that no one was hurt during this accident, it could have been lots worse!
