I don't have any details, but a co-worker just heard on his scanner that a plane has crashed at Oceana NAS in Virginia Beach. He tells me it sounds like one of the stunt planes practicing for this weekends airshow. At least one fatality.

From WAVY - TV :
BREAKING NEWS - Acrobatic plane crashes at Oceana Naval Air Station
A plane has gone down at Oceana Naval Air Station. The plane is part of the GEICO Skytyper team. There is no word on if there are any injuries.
EDIT - Apparently a PR guy with the team was at the TV station for a live interview at the time of the crash. He said the #6 aircraft went down - no word on the pilot - and some repairs would have to be made to the #1 aircraft.
EDIT #2 - WTKR TV says it was the #4 bird. Their video from the scene shows the #5 aircraft on the ground safely.

I just watched the video of the crash. But the plane dissapears behind a tent so you cant see impact. But it look like it had a complete loss of controls possibly. It just kinda gradually descended still going straight instead of breaking off like he was supposed to. Definetly looks non-survivable, but still hoping for the best.

Its the #4 aircraft. Here is a link to some footage. They have zoomed in and slowed it down so its not the greatest, #4 was the last plane to turn on its smoke, right after that is where this video starts, with the aircraft crashing off screen. I only live a few blocks from NAS Oceana
Here is a longer video, post crash. At about the 1:45 mark it shows the Sky Typers coming in for their break, with the one aircraft at the end going straight, it cuts out before the decent starts though.
