The Fate Of Japanese Carrier StarFlyer?

I'd never heard of this little airline until I saw this photo of them at Haneda, equating them to the JetBlue of Japan...

...the photos seem to only go through 2006, so I can probably guess the answer to this-- but anyways, anyone in-the-know want to clue us in to what became of this carrier?

Seems to still be running -- although the English site hasn't been updated since waybackwhen ... the Japanese site has been updated as recently as four days ago (6 Sept 07)

Still running but has had to slow its growth.

They currently fly Kitakyushu (KKJ) to HND. But their original plans had them expanding quickly to CTS, KIX, NGO, and a few other domestic locations. They also originally stated that they would look at flying to Korea, Taiwan and China.

Their corp HQ is in Kitakyushu but it seems that they were going to set up a network like B6. They would launch flights from other airports and make a complete network.

The problem is that they only have 2 or 3 aircraft and have not expanded as fast as they thought they would.

They serve really good Chocolate to all passengers. Interior is leather. Supposed to be quite a nice carrier.

EDIT:
Just read one of their press releases from August 29th. They were approved to fly HND-KIX. Which is their 2nd route.
They state that they can use KIX to connect foreign passengers to HND.
I have a feeling that they will then try for KKJ-KIX . That will make a triangle of flights.

I think that their ideal network will look something this:
KKJ-HND
KKJ-KIX
KKJ-CTS
KKJ-NGO
KKJ-OKA
KKJ-KIJ
KKJ-SDJ
HND-KIX
HND-CTS
HND-NGO (maybe my dream)
KIX-CTS
KIX-KIJ
KIX-SDJ

I think they would attempt to tap Korea heavily
BUS, ICN (or SEL), CJU, TAE

They could also tap China if the routes are allowed. They could build up international routes from KKJ, KIX, NGO or CTS. Even OKA could work.

But for now, they need to expand their domestic network.

StarFlyer is another Japanese quasi-LCC. StarFlyer, along with Skynet Asia and AirDo, codeshare with ANA.
They are once again experiencing the pains associated with the Japanese market when one has to compete again the two big dogs.
