Just wondering whether KLM has completed retrofitting their 744s with their new business-class seats. I would like to try them on their Houston-Amsterdam flight. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

They are being progressively refitted with the new WBC seats, not sure what percentage of the fleet has been done thus far but I've been on multiple KL 744s this summer in WBC and all featured the new seats etc... so I would hazard a guess and say that the majority of the fleet has now been overhauled.
Once you have tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward; for there you long to return

Quoting PHKLM (Reply 3):
Sorry but HOU-AMS is operated by PrivatAir's 73W BBJ, so I would definately take that flight ISO the 74M.
I mean, the upperdeck might be kinda cool, 44 seats in a 737 is really cool.
although I must say the new WBC seats are better than the seats in the BBJ angle too steep and IFE also better with AVOD in the new WBC

When will KLM retrofit their 747-400 (not combi) and MD-11's in economy? (I have flights of both these aircrafts in 2008) Or will they not bother with that at all and buy new planes in the near future?
