Whats meant to be happening to TF-ARV in Marana?

Is it due to be scrapped or something, if so why has it be stripped to bare metal at the front.

The plane itself looks more or less intact, so maybe the fuselage is just getting stripped in preparation for either a heavy D-Check or just for a new paintjob.

Think it's just a case of a photo taken in between the paint being stripped off...Nice capture, actually!

After a huge expansion over the last 5 years Air Atlanta seems to downsize at the moment, some 742Fs were sold this year and all -200B pax aircraft have been retired, some scrapped. I know they have some 777Fs coming in the next years, and aren´t they getting some secondhand 744s soon? What´s the current status of the Icelandic operator in terms of new aircraft?
