Hi to you all! Sorry if discussed before, but the search didn't turned up any results...
I checked Swedish tour-company http://www.detur.se and to my surprise they are offering NORDIC AIRWAYS B757-300 flights to exotic destinations; e.g. Phuket, Goa, Hurghada etc.! In the moment, Nordic Leisure is only operating one SAAB SF340 and 3 MD80's. I tried to book Phuket and the following showed up:
STOCKHOLM ARLANDA 28 okt 2007 22:00 till PHUKET 18:30 +1 KK973
PHUKET 05 nov 2007 19:30 till STOCKHOLM ARLANDA 04:30 +1 KK974
The flight-code KK stands for ATLASJET TURKEY... So what the hell is going on???
Is Nordic Airways leasing a B757 of Atlasjet? Is KK operating/leasing any B757-300 soon? why are the flights operated under Atlasjet's KK-code and not Nordic Airways 6N-code? and will it be possible (traffic rights), that a Turkish company (non EU-Country) is flying between an EU-member state and a 3rd Country?
Any memeber of our Turkish and Swedish community with any answer?

Not sure why the code KK comes up, but they are supposed to operate those flights with a 757-300 leased from Thomas Cook on behalf of touroperator Detur. They have been using AtlasJet for flights to Turkey, could be that they missprinted flightnumber.

Quoting Can258 (Reply 2): I think it is missprinted as flyboy said
I checked today back on detur.de and found this: (sorry, Swedish only!)
Atlasjet Airlines
I thought Nordic Airways would have chartered a B757-300... Is it possible for a Turkish company to fly non-stop between Stockholm and Asia (traffic rights)?

I don't know about rights, but the 757's range will definitely not be enough to fly from ARN to HKT nonstop.
One of the best places in the world: McDonald's in T2 at FRA.

Well, some years ago, there was an article about KK in a German aviation magazine and IIRC they said some of their aircraft are operated from Thailand, with the LTU line MX station in BKK providing technical support to the aircraft (757).

Yeap, thats true... the airline was called "Thaijet"; but went bankrupt. I doubt they will re-start service...

The Novair A330 is reported to be operated by Orbest (Portugal), as Novair don't have any A330s of their own anymore.
TUIfly Nordic B744 probably leased from Corsair again, exactly as winter 2006/2007.

Just a brief up-date...
The timetable now vanished.
Detur is showing the same time on their offers, but if you book, the flights times just vanished to "unknown"...

The B757-300 will be leased from Thomas Cook UK and re-configuered with 265Y seats instead of Y280 (Thomas Cook Germany/CONDOR is operating the B757-300 with only Y252 seats!). Here is a Swedish-only article:

Quoting Fly2YYZ (Reply 12): I also believe that UKZ will be doing flights on behalf of a tour operator in Denmark CPH-HKT routing once the 763 arrives from zoom Canada.
Do you know which company that is for?? I've also heard they might be doing BKK, GOI and TRV
