Is this really going on tomorrow? I read on another forum that the word is that US pilots (not sure is EAST or WEST) are planning a sick out on 9/21 to show protest. So far 90 pilots have called in according to this other forum. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this or whats really going on? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have heard this rumor by many... I hear these things often though and they don't turn out to be true... but who knows... only tomorrow will tell. Maybe I'LL call in sick if I find out it's true!

Protest what? Most of their problems right now are of their own creation and these types of displays are not going to help them.

Noooo Slinetbob... we don't wanna get 'em more upset... please stop!!!  eyepopping  LOL

No I just don't want them to stop flying, and whatever problems they might have, weather by their own creation or not, I hope they get resolved quickly and without affecting any of their customers... Big grin

Hmm... my educated guess says that it's just the east guys doing it since they're the ones who have been complaining, and flight 51 is a west flight so you're probably fine.
