The new and high-tech zeppelin used by De Beers (South Africa) for diamond exploration came down in the Kalahari desert. The pilot was taken to hospital.

Incorrect. It wasn´t a crash, the Zepplin was at its pylon when a small tornado struck. The injured person appears not to be the pilot but a member of the ground crew. Currently not known if the Zeppelin can be repaired or not. Source are German newspapers (the lessor of the Zeppelin is a German company).
