Service will roll out to Chicago this winter, which becomes an A340 service. Boston and Miami, both which will be upgraded to an A340 in April (BOS is already bookable as an A340, MIA will be soon), get first class service back next summer. In 2009, it will roll out to Delhi and Mumbai. In 2010, Dar Es Salaam, Montreal, and Nairobi will complete the roll out.

The topic has been digussed in the Swiss Aviation thread and another thread designated to the A330 purchases by LX. Interesting comments made by Hohmeister on the planed dates to intorduce F on selected routes. There will be 4 deliveries in 2009 so LX could add 4 destinations already in 2009 with F. I really hope LX will upgrade it's A340's as well and offer the same premium product on it's entire fleet. The inconsitency of the product is really frustrating and now it's still much worse when comparing the A340 C class & IFE system to the A332's.
