There has been a rumor that they are looking at some of the Japanese airports to break into that market. Once outside of TYO, the prices are much lower for landing which might be good for them. Airports like NGO have been talking qith LCC in Asia and offering incentives to start service. But on the other side there are other destinations like Kitakyushu also looking to attract LCCs. If AirAsia X flew into Kitakyushu, they could hook up with Starflyer for connecting access to HND and KIX.
