I just received the latest BA timetable. In the seating map section they have the 744 with the new club world configuration that was in the last timetable with about 70 Club World seats, 30 World Traveler Plus seats, and not too many World Traveler seats. This new timetable has a second new arrangement for the 744 with reduced Club World seats (38), and about 36 WT plus seats, with greatly increased coach seating.
Does anyone know which configurations are used on which routes?
Are they both used to JFK?
Plus, now that they have the 777 with the new seats, which routes are they currently used on and which are planned in the near future? (I have the same question with the 744, the timetable said all longhaul A/C will have the new seats within two years, but what about next month?
Oh, another question: does BA plan on installing the World Traveler Plus seat on their longhaul 767's?
And one final question: why do they have a few 777's with a very cramped 3-4-3 configuration that are used to the places like Antigua and Tobago when flights longer than those like to Denver use their more common configuration? (I think that question had been discussed but couldn't find it). Thanks in advance

When i flew to JFK in Oct on board a 774 from LHR there was a tiny WT section right at the back! All class's were the new type (1st, beds in club, WT Plus and WT with PTV's). This must have been the 1st config' you are talking about, don't know anything about the 2nd!
Club world beds are only being installed on the 774 JFK and HKG routes to begin with. The 777s will remain with the "cradle seats" in club (actually much better anyway!!) and all 777 have the new WT with PTV's.
High capacity 777 are used on so called "leisure" flights to some mexican and caribean routes from LGW. They have a small club section at the front, no first. These flights are operated in conjuction with AML. The flightdeck crews are from BA while the cabin crew are contracted from JMC Air ( a British charter company), you are right it is VERY cramped on board, however this arrangement will cease next year.

Thanks! I had been to the BA site and had done alot of research on their fleet. I know that BA recently introduced the New Club Worldseating to Chicago on 777's. There in a seat map in the new timetable for the 777 that has 48 New Club World beds, 40 WT Plus, 14 First beds, and the rest coach. (So now they have 4 777 configurations) Do you know what other cities are planning on being added in the near future besides Hong Kong and JFK with the 744 andORD with the 777? I have spent about an hour on BA site trying to find out this info but couldn't. They haven't even updated their seatmaps to show the new Club World and WT plus yet on the site! Thanks again
