Hey All

My friend and I are traveling SFO-CDG on OCT 10, 2007. I am flying via ORD on UAL942 arriving CDG 9:30am and my buddy is going non-stop on AFR083 arriving CGD 1130am.

My question is that I want know of good meeting spot, when we arrive at the aiport. I am thinking that going over to the baggage claim in the Air France terminal is the most logical. However, I am unfamiliar with the airport and securiy procedures and what would be considered inapropiate to the CDG security officials.

I know this sort of thing is pretty common so I am asking you all what you sugguest; regarding setting a redezvous point between my and friend.

BTW- I am definetely going to post a TR w/ pic of the UAL752,763 & 777

Thanks

Seeing as your friend will most likely arrive at one of the T2 piers, i suggest you meet at the central train station located in the middle of the whole T2 area. It is well signed and easy to access (there's a shuttle bus connecting the piers). Just make sure you're not meetin ghim on the first floor as that is where the ticket counters are located and hence it's always jammed down there.

Since you'll fly on UA, i think you'll arrive at T1. Getting to T2 is easy though, there's the CDGVAL raillink connecting all three terminals within minutes and you'll arrive exactly at that train station mentioned above.

Have a good trip!

At risk of a "me too" post, I too think the train station is the most logical place to meet. In all likelihood, your friend will arrive at 2E, which is an easy walk to the train station.
