Here we go with politics again! This is supposed to be an aviation website. May be the IR 747 is somewhere else. May be the airfield in La Paz is to high for the SP. Whatever the case, let's keep it to aviation.

Probably left the U.S. and went to Caracas and sat there waiting to pick him up in Caracas to take him back to Tehran. Then the question is, what did he use to get from New York to La Paz?

Hi Guys,

Last Sunday (When Ahmadinejad arrived to CCS), I went to pick up my dad at the airport at about 2100. When arriving to the terminal, I saw the IR 747 standing where the government aircraft usually are. I assume that´s the one aircraft that is to take the man back to THR. It couldn´t be the 747 used for the commercial route CCS-DAM-THR since that flight goes out of CCS on saturday evenings.

On a side note, I saw the V0 340 sitting at the end of the boarding gates. When will it finally be used commercially? Another question to answer.

LPB airport altitude is actually 13,325 ft. (4061 m.) The airport is on a plateau above the city.
