Actually the latest word I heard is that it will arrive either 940 or 1000 and park in front of Superbay. Then will taxi to Gate 101 in the afternoon around 2 pm or so for gate testing. Should last about 4 or so hours and then taxi back to Superbay until departure on Friday at 230 pm.
Of note for tomorrow. 2 F-16s are scheduled to arrive at around 9 am for Fleet Week. Then the A380 around the 940-1000 range and then the Blue Angels arrive around 1030 or so. Also there is a Qatar Airways A330 parked at Signature Ramp until Friday.

Great, all that action at SFO on the day I am out of the country. SUCKS!

Great place to spot. Long term parking isn't that bad last time I tried it but it's been a while.

..unfortunately I had to take my dSLR for servicing so I hope no one minds the bad quality as I took these photos from the type of camera Norcal773 uses..

Forget Bayshore! Head to Marina Green in San Francisco. The A380 will spend ~30 minutes after departure from SFO flying over the San Francisco waterfront, for an air-to-air photography session and aerial demonstration, up until about 15:00 when the Blue Angels come in. I will be there.
I have my fingers crossed for a formation flight of one A380 and six F-18's over the Golden Gate bridge... how cool would that be?

I cant believe that the a380 was 20 minutes early! I brought my DSLR and HD camcorder, hoping that my friends that were coming to meet me would be able to shoot video... but they all got there too late! so no video, but some pictures.

38 Skibum9: The engines are not purely P&W, they are manufactured by an engine alliance, which is 50% GE and 50% P&W.
