I'm confused....
Which is older? TWA or Northwest?
Some places I've read state that TWA is the oldest airline in the US. Others state that it is Northwest.
I have an airliner book, published in 1987 or so, which says that Northwest at the time was the second oldest. Western was the oldest. The book was published just prior to Western being devoured by Delta. With Western now long gone, wouldn't Northwest have ascended to the most senior slot?
