Heard a rumor this evening from a Comair ramper that DL mainline was planning on coming back to ABE. He didn't know of when this was happening, or which hub they would be flying to (I'm assuming it'd be ATL). Any Delta guys out there have any information on this?

Nothing on the schedule as of right now. And I don't see why a Comair ramper would be saying it since ABE is served by ASA.

Not according to their flight schedule:
Listen, it doesn't matter what flights serve that airport, ABE is a comair operated station. Several airports in the DL network are entirely run (ticket counter, gate, ramp) by Comair employees. DL gave several stations to Comair in terms of customer service. Here are some others that have all or some part of the operation run by Comair:
* Akron/Canton
* Appleton
* Bangor
* Buffalo
* Charlottesville
* Cincinnati
* Des Moines
* Flint
* Fort Wayne
* Green Bay
* Kalamazoo
* Knoxville
* Lexington
* Madison
* Miami
* Milwaukee
* Newburgh
* Orlando
* Rochester
* Springfield/Branson
* State College
* Wilkes-Barre/Scranton
* Allentown
* Atlantic City
* Birmingham
* Burlington
* Cedar Rapids
* Charleston
* Dayton
* Detroit
* Evansville
* Fort Lauderdale
* Grand Rapids
* Harrisburg
* Key West
* Omaha
* Lansing
* Louisville
* Manchester
* Midway
* Moline
* Roanoke
* Sioux Falls
* South Bend
* Toledo
Also, many comair stations handle mainline jets. Buffalo is one city that sees a lot of mainline but is operated by Comair. My station, OMA sees more ASA than we do Comair but we're still a comair station. Now you know...

The stations run by Comair are very very very obvious when you visit them....It is not Delta....I hope BUF for one switches back to Mainline employees....

As a former Lehigh Valleyan (the worst 2 years of my life) and a quite frequent ABE flier (both commercially and at Ace Pilot Training) I'd be shocked if this happened. DL has done nothing but downgrade/cut ABE flights over the past couple years. Formerly there were higher frequencies and CR7's, now it's all CR2's and E135's, and a total of 5 flights a day on Delta.
Common sense would state that if DL was going to upgrade ABE it would come in the forms of maybe a 4th ATL frequency, or CR7's. Or ERJ service to Florida destinations to go against Allegiant like they go against FL in many markets. They've got CR7's, E170's, and CR9's to go before they would worry about mainline. Nobody gets upgraded from a 50 seater to a mainliner.
Now they only way they could ever add SLC would be via mainline as I think it would be beyond the range of anything else, but I put the chances of that happening somewhere between a snowball's chance in hell, and an A380 running the PHL-ABE hop.

Toledo doesn't even have any scheduled Comair flights, haven't for over a year now.

While the only station I really deal with Comair employees is at MHT (my regular cities of GSO, ATL, CVG, BOS, MCO, JFK, LAX, LAS, etc. are all mainline employees), I've found the Comair employees there are great - they've generally always done a great job with my travel needs.

Delta used to do mainline from Cincinatti. Once or twice a day. Boeing 737-200. I believe about 10 years ago.

Not sure what is meant by this but I think you've misjudged Comair employees. I know we may have different uniforms but most Comair employees out there are just as good or maybe better than some mainline employees I've met across the DL network.
