Singapore - Budget carrier Tiger Airways signed a contract on Tuesday for an additional 30 Airbus A320s with options for 20 more.
The new aircraft 'will allow us to keep our costs low and importantly maintain our leadership on low, low fares across the Asia-Pacific region,' said Tony Davis, chief executive officer.
The signing confirmed orders itemized under a memorandum of understanding with Airbus signed at the Paris Airshow in June 2007.
Another carrier firming its Paris commitment. Let´s see if there have been additional firming which haven´t been reported so far... time for Airbus to upload the O&D update!

It looks like they'll of sold some of every type of plane except for the A340. Some of these might not be in the update for Sept that's due this week so October's update could be good too

Quoting A520 (Reply 5): How far are they from the 1000-mark from January?
They quote on thier website that at the end of Aug there were 713 sales for this year (don't know if that's net or gross though!) and there's about another 200 in this lot so, if Ek takes the plunge with a pile of A350s then they're at 1000 already!
