The airplane ( apparently a Let-410) HK-4055 flying the route Villavicencio-La Uribe, carried 18 people, 15 military.
The plane departed at 3:19pm from Villavicencio, and was scheduled to land at 3:50 in La Uribe.
The pilots didn't report any emergency.

"Según el vocero, el piloto de la nave no reportó fallas e indicó que se inició un operativo conjunto con las Fuerzas Militares para buscar la aeronave. Las autoridades militares temen que la aeronave se haya estrellado en la región, aunque guardan la esperanza de que los tripulantes hayan logrado realizar un aterrizaje de emergencia."
