Yet another ex-AA ETOPS 757-200ER has arrived at ATL with a pair of winglets installed at TIMCO in Lake City, FL. This aircraft will be ship 6803 and will retain the N704X registration. Note that these are the same basic seats that were used when it operated for American Airlines and will be replaced later this year. Additionally, as each ETOPS 757 is cycled through for interior modifications each aircraft will receive cabin-wide AVOD in-flight entertainment - the same product that is being deployed on the 737-800 fleet.
Since more ETOPS 757s have come online recently, they are starting to show up at MCO, LAS, and BWI as well ask JFK (obviously). Currently they are operating JFK-SNN, and will be the equipment type used on the recently announced Malaga, Spain service.
She'll receive her new dress within the next week, as a Caribbean Airlines 737-800 is currently being repainted following a heavy check. She should be operating Delta flights by the end of the month.
