"vivaAerobus is expected to commence operations to Austin, Texas by Spring 2008, pending the completion of a new, low cost terminal. The carrier changed its original start date in Nov-07 to Spring so that it may launch its services out of the new terminal rather than provide interim service from Austin-Bergstroms main terminal..."

Interesting that TLC is not one of the destinations for which vivaAerobus applied. I wonder who they are going after... the AUS-CUN is clearly for the leisure travelers, whereas GLD, BJX, PBC and QER are maybe more oriented towards the VFR crowd (with a bit of shoppers and business guys included in the mix perhaps). MTY seems more like a shopping express flight, especially considering that Austin is close to the San Marcos outlets and, as I have been told, a new, very cool upscale shopping center has opened recently in Austin, with some potential for business travelers too.
