I know for certain jetBlue or let alone any other carrier doesn't fly to PVD. Early diversion? I don't think so by looks of the "44" in the flight number.

Flight is showing PVU (Provo Utah), not PVD on the east coast. Regardless, it is a strange flight. Does Neelman live in Provo maybe and maybe he was chartering an aircraft for a family holiday? (That's about the only thing I can think of at this time)

PVD is Providence, Rhode Island.
Your showing PVU, which is in Utah as shown.
Which one do you mean?

Brigham Young played UNLV at Las Vegas last night, so this JetBlue flight would seem to be the school charter back to Provo.
You don't need a passport to know what state you're in...

Interesting, jetBlue has been doing a fair amount of charter business lately.

Yeah, since it is the down season, JetBlue is a little bit more flexible with their aircraft. Enabling them to operate charters more often. Comes in handy!

Why is clicking the link so hard? You would know by know which one I meant..
I did click the link, and was confused by your title versus what was on the link, I was assuming you meant PVU, but people make mistakes, so thats why I wanted to be sure and ask the Poster, you. Did you mean PVU or PVD?
Simple enough.
I got my answer a long time ago, so never mind.

jetBlue has always done a lot of college charters...nothing new at all. Everyone needs to take a deep breath and remind them self its 'charter season' We'll see this every weekend from now till after Thanksgiving for college...and after the New Year for the pro's
