From my experience and knowledge, ALL Lufthansa A340 have been refitted with the new Business Class. However, GRU-MUC is marked as 34P in the TT and Amadeus, and also actual LH floorplans still show a 3 class A340 ... so, wht is the current status?
Any help is appreciated.

all longhaul aircraft (apart from the A300-600s) are now fitted with the new business class. the last latter in 34P, to the best of my knowledge, shows whether its a large business class or the smaller one. there's also the code 34Q. but I'm not sure which one is which - larger or smaller business cabin.
If only pure sweetness was offered, why's this bitter taste left in my mouth.
LH504/505 have had the new Business Class the flight was launched on 14-Sep-06. The route was done by the 34Q up to mid October if I remember correctly when LH switched to a daytime departure ex MUC, the flight became daily and the equipment was chaned to a 34P. In two weeks time the flight will be upgraded to a 34D.

346 = Airbus A340-600 = 66/C-class, 279/M-class
34D = Airbus A340-600 = 8/F-class, 60/C-class, 238/M-class
343 = Airbus A340-300 = 8/F-class, 42/C-class, 197/M-class
34V = Airbus A340-300 = 44/C-class, 222/M-class
330 = Airbus A330-300 = 8/F-class, 48/C-class, 165/M-class
These are the Airbus seating configurations we´re currently flying around with. This is the most current information I have. It might be outdated because it seems to me that the 343 version/configuration still features the old Business Class.
I´ve never heard of the codes 34P and 34Q, I´ve only seen the code 74P which is referred to as the Boeing 747-400 configuration with 16/F-class, 80/c-class, 234/M-class which is the largest Business class section offered on the 747-400. The code for 747´s with the smaller Business class would be 744.
However I don´t work in reservations, I´m a flight attendant so my info might not be totally up-to-date. 34P and 34Q might be used as codes in reservations/Amadeus etc. however I really don´t think that we have any more versions than the ones I´ve posted above... so I´m a bit confused myself.

Hmmm... I know there's also a version of the A343 with 36 business seats. It currently flies on the DEN-MUC route. I'm guessing this could be the A34P or A34Q. Although, I believe the A34P is a 48-seat version.
