Per the winter 2007/08 schedule, AF Cargo is dropping their 1x weekly DFW service, and moving it back to IAH (now back to 3x weekly). Didn't last very long.

Well that sucks, but at least it was the 1x weekly carrier who rarely showed their planes in the light of day that left. I hope the market supports a return soon.

I'm curious in terms of cargo what sort of market Texas has that interests AF so much, is it the connection they can offer over toward the mid-east?

A bit surprising, but given AF's and the SkyTeam passenger network at IAH, I guess it's logical.

DFW is still a major player in cargo, but this probably kills any immediate hopes for AF beginning passenger service to DFW (especially with the upcoming arrival of KLM).

Well, at least LH is adding MEX from DFW twice a week, plus the other 2X week FRA-DFW-FRA.

Maybe AF should replace the cargo plane to DFW with a 330. lol
