SilverJet are really pulling all the guns for their latest adverting campaign...
During half time of the Rugby World Final with England v South Africa, SilverJet airred a special Rugby World Cup advert on ITV1. It was bascially their copycat BA advert they have been using recently, with they rugby theme tune "Swing Low Sweet Chariot..." being sung and instead of their usual slogan at the end they had "Bring It Home Boys..."
This advert would have cost hundred of thousands of pounds to be airred during such a peak viewing sports event...
I thought the advert was a nice touch and definately away for this start-up airline to get their brand out and about, and maybe get people talking!

Agree with all your sentiments - thought it was a good, well-produced advert. Good on them for making the effort. Shame we were robbed of the cup by that outrageous try decision though.

I would love to try SilverJet sometime , they look to be the best of all these EOS Maxjet type of airlines.
Shame England lost , I was hoping theyd win !! Still its nice to see South Africa win also, they do deserve it. We must remember that England did very well and exceeded all expectations so they are going home with their heads high.

Also thought is was a very nice touch, Cadbury's did a similar thing with their immensly popular Gorilla advert. They must have got the chequebook out big time for all this advertising lately, the ad premiered during the Australia game, which wouldnt have been cheap. Also seeing lots of press adverts, and seeing internet banner adverts all over the place! Hope it works for them it looks like a great product.
