I saw this on our news website this morning.
He boarded his flight in Tampa to go to his destination, but had to stop in CLT and that's where he drew the line i guess.
Thought it was kind of intresting, but stupid!!

http://www.wcnc.com/news/topstories/...mrn-airportshooting.18eb07136.html

If it is so life threatning, how would someone not notice with all the blood?

Ashley from CLT

That's insane and almost unbelievable! The gunshot must not have been very noticeable..surely the F/As would have said something and tried to divert the flight if it was serious.

Nothing was said about blood in the article. One can be shot without a lot of blood visible. Depends on the location and calibre of the bullet.

Well, apparently I've heard stories where a man got shot on his head by a stray bullet and never knew about it until several years later after complaining of a bad headache. Some wierd stuff in the news.

Why would this get detected by Homeland security. So far they only have people taking off belts and shoes. If he blocked the bleeding they would have to make passengers get nude to detect it... or have the metal detectors set so high a high-iron diet would set things off.

The article didn't say where this moron was shot,so hopefully it was a "minor" gsw, or his endorprphins had kicked in along with whatever he had ingested prior to or after the incident. Some gsw's don't bleed much,a sm caliber wound can close up on it own. Its a medical fact that on occasion, injuries that wound bring normal people to their knees, has little or no effect on people like him.In those cases we use a math equation called "The Tooth to Tattoo Ratio."it helps to figure his IQ.  duck

Guy's 37 and from Clearwater, Fl. He got into an argument with a woman during a card game in Dunedin, and she shot him three times with a small-caliber weapon. The Pinellas county sheriff's office says he was hit in the arm and torso, and the wounds were not life-threatening. He was treated in Charlotte, and resumed his trip to Albany, NY. Deputies say he's given conflicting information about the shooter and the incident..and has indicated that he may not wish to prosecute.

By "whatever he had ingested", do you mean something like pizza? Big grin

Incredible.. its amazing there wasnt that much blood and no one noticed it. It's even more incredible that he was able to do all this dispite the pain he was probably in.

Man, that "fearing another 'final destination'" line sure was lamentable. Cheers to the shot, boo to those who kept him from reaching ALB on time (if Hollywood has taught me anything, it's that men who go forward with their plans despite gunshot wounds generally have important business to attend to).  Wink

Didn't TR do something like this once? Except instead of a flight he made a speaking engagement and only sought medical help after the speech was over.

Chuck Norris is an actor. Everything that he says has been written by somebody else and every scene has been shot and reshot numerous times and then carefully edited. Stunts are done by stuntmen and all backshots and distance shots are done by a double to save costs and insurance premiums.

Muffed lines and lines with poor sound quality are "looped" in a studio by someone who sounds like Norris. Bad hair, discolored teeth, poor lighting, a misshapen ear, and the like, are fixed by computer graphics.

Where did you go to school, Mississippi?

You better pray Chuck Norris doesn't read Airliners.net, otherwise you'll have a kick moving in a round motion coming out of your monitor shortly.

Believe it or not? I have seen more people killed with a 22, than anything else. Small cals seem to go in and bounce around, where larger cals follow more of a straight cavitational path.
