Wonder if someone could advise me.
Travelling to the USA in a few days and will be able to check in online. Flying UK to AMS and then to the US.
Online check-in is only available 24 hours prior to travel to the USA but 30 hours prior to travel to AMS.
Am I able to check in for the AMS flight first, print boarding pass then log in later to process the USA flight?

HI, You will be able to check in for the entire trip including the AMS US segment 30 hours before the flight. I have done this many times before, and will be doing so on Friday for a flight from the UK to Boston this Saturday.

Not sure about KL, but have tried that on AF before.
I was flying MAN-CDG-BOM. I checked in about 23 hrs before MAN-CDG fligth & I wasnt allowed to check-in for CDG-BOM, which is where I was more keen to select a good seat as MAN-CDG is a very short flight anyway.

I was trying to check-in PRG-AMS AMS-JFK for a flight departing in some 29 hours, managed to book myself only for the PRG-AMS segment and then their wonderful system claimed it has "no reservation record" for my gf (although we have reservation under one reservation code).
Called the KLM call center in Prague, got exactly ZERO assistance from them .... and they are not even on strike.
